This is the annual national exhibition of AIS members' work, to be held at the Richland Fine Art Gallery in Nashville in October.... "Emphasis is always on capturing light and color, using broken brush strokes and impasto spots of color to create a dazzling impression of the subject."  My 9x12" plein air painting in this show is a country landscape titled "Rood Bridge Road" (I'll post a pic of it later).
